TJ Moen is currently an assistant coach at Grand View University. He returned to his alma mater in 2016 after being the Head Assistant Coach at Campbellsville University the previous two seasons. While at Campbellsville, Moen coached eight all-Americans and a National Champion. Prior to Campbellsville, Moen was the Head Coach at Saydel high school where he coached 2 wrestlers to become state medalists. As a college athlete TJ was a two-time NJCAA all-American at NIACC. He finished his career at Grand View where he placed 3rd at the 2012 NAIA National championships and helped lead the team to the first National Team Championship. In 2013 he was the USA Veterans National Champion.

Moen was also a highly decorated high school athlete as a 4x state place-winner and 2x state champion at Saydel High School. TJ was a Cadet Greco-Roman national champion, a Junior Greco-Roman all-American, and a 2x USA folkstyle national champion. TJ and his wife Morgan reside in Johnston with their daughter Hazel.


Mason Miller will be heading up the VWC South Branch.  Mason is a 2018 graduate from Grand View University.  While competing for the Vikings he was an NAIA National qualifier and a 2X NAIA academic all-American.  Prior to Grand View Mason was a 3X Iowa state place-winner for Winterset with  finishes of 2nd, 4th and 5th. Mason was also a Fargo all-American, placing 3rd.


Dylan Blackford will be in his first year as assistant coach of the VWC.  Dylan just wrapped up a stellar collegiate career where he was a 2X NAIA all-American.  Prior to Grand View Dylan was an Iowa State Champion for Southeast Polk High School and a 3X state place-winner.  Additionally he was a 2X Fargo all-American.
